It has just been announced that Bot-Hive has been shortlisted for the Silicon Gorge: Autumn Edition Investor Showcase organised by TechSPARK.

The Silicon Gorge: Autumn Edition Investor Showcase shortlist was selected from a whopping 66 applications. Each one on the list had to pass through a rigorous three-stage process including two pitching competitions in front of experienced network and investor judges.

The 11 successful companies, including Bot-Hive, have now won the opportunity to pitch to an audience on the 12th November 2020.

The well respected showcase attracts investors, managers of investment funds and those who facilitate investment.

As for TechSPARK, it’s a not-for-profit network which connects, educates and strengthens the digi-tech cluster in the West. It works with tech and digital businesses from startups to scaleups, SMEs to global corporations based in the region to help them to grow, use its connections and knowledge.

Bot-Hive co-founder and CEO Jacques Bonfrer said:

“I’m proud that the business has been selected as one of the 11 chosen startup companies to represent the Silicon Gorge Autumn cohort. It’s testament to our hard work and exciting platform that we’re building for automated industries. In a world of infinite possibility, robotics and AI-enhanced automation technology offer organisations of all shapes and sizes a huge opportunity to transform their workflow.  As the global economy evolves itself following today’s current pandemic crisis, automation will play a key role in how organisations rebuild themselves as we look to move forward.

“Our unique platform which connects buyers and sellers digitally, offers an exciting opportunity to investors looking to gain from this fast growing trend.”

Chris Hayes, Bot-Hive co-founder and CRO, added:

“Investment in robotics and autonomous technology continues to sustain momentum, even during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is a tribute to evolution of technology and the part it will play across society and industry in the future. We are delighted to have been selected as part of the final 11 to represent the Silicon Gorge autumn cohort and pitch to their investor network. Robotics offers an immense opportunity for businesses to come back even stronger in a post pandemic world by automating workflows and optimising efficiencies. The Bot-Hive platform, which hosts the largest collection of industrial robotics on the web, will be perfectly positioned to connect businesses with the latest cutting edge technology and we’re excited to play a part in the rebirth of the global economy.”
